Mary Alison Felts Yeargan, or Alison to her many friends and patients, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she focused her studies on science and medicine subsequently graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1993. In addition to being a member of the UNC women’s varsity tennis team and an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Alison also met and married an up and coming UNC student named Austin Yeargan III.
Alison joined UNC Hospitals after graduation in 1993 and worked in the Pediatric Surgery department before moving with her husband, Austin, to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina where she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). In 2016, with the establishment of the Regenerative Medicine Clinic in Wilmington, NC, Alison began assisting her husband with various ortho-regenerative medical procedures including Stem Cell therapies and other ortho-regenerative therapies. In addition to assisting her husband, she is the Chief Operating Officer and oversees the business affairs of the clinic.
Alison is a mother to three children and three dogs and spends her free time riding her bike, jogging, and cooking.
